Motorcycle Towing on I-10 — Brookshire, TX
The I-10 corridor through Brookshire and Waller County is a major route for motorcycle riders heading west out of the Katy area — and a breakdown on I-10 is one of the most stressful situations a rider can face. Traffic moves fast, the shoulder is narrow, and finding a towing company that actually knows how to handle a motorcycle correctly is harder than it should be.
Rescue Towing Group LLC uses proper upright tie-down loading with soft loop straps for every motorcycle and trike we transport in Brookshire and throughout Waller County. No chains. No improvised attachment points. No driver who has never loaded a bike before.
How We Load Your Bike
Wheel Chock Positioned First
A motorcycle-specific wheel chock is set on the flatbed before loading to hold the front wheel stable during the entire loading process.
Soft Loops on Fork or Handlebars
Soft loop tie-down straps are attached to the front forks or handlebar ends — never to cables, brake lines, or painted surfaces.
Front Suspension Compressed
Forward straps are tightened until the front forks are slightly compressed — this prevents the bike from bouncing during transport on I-10 and county roads.
Rear Points Secured
Rear straps are attached to the frame or subframe using soft loops. The motorcycle is held from four points — front left, front right, rear left, rear right.
Final Check and Departure
We walk around the loaded bike, verify all four strap points, and confirm the wheel chock is locked before moving a single foot.
Can-Am Spyder Towing — Brookshire and Waller County
The Can-Am Spyder RT and F3 series are reverse trikes — two wheels in front, one in back — and they present towing challenges that standard motorcycle procedures do not address. The wide front track means standard wheel chocks do not fit and the approach angle onto the flatbed has to be adjusted for the Spyder’s weight distribution and wheelbase.
Rescue Towing Group has transported Can-Am Spyder vehicles along I-10 through Brookshire and across Waller County. Our drivers know the correct procedure for all Can-Am models and carry the right equipment to load them safely.
